Data controller
MDO AVOCATS, whose contact details appear in the legal notice, is responsible for the data processing carried out through this website. For any questions or to exercise your rights, write to rgpd@mdo-avocats.fr.
Data collected and purposes
When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, telephone number if provided, subject and message to respond to your enquiry and follow up our communications. If the newsletter is enabled and you subscribe, we process your email address, consent and the data required to manage your subscription.
With your consent where required, the website may use cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic and display Google Maps. Browsing data may include a random identifier, pages viewed, dates and times, technical browser and device information, an IP address and performance or security data.
Legal bases and recipients
Contact enquiries are processed on the basis of your pre-contractual request or the firm's legitimate interest in responding. The newsletter is based on your consent. Non-essential cookies rely on consent; logs needed for security rely on the firm's legitimate interest. Data are accessible to authorised staff within the firm and, where necessary, its technical providers: OVHcloud hosting, website security or delivery, a newsletter tool if enabled, and a mapping provider after your consent.
External consultation platform
Consultation links redirect to the platform consultation.avocat.fr operated by the Conseil national des barreaux. Data you enter there are subject to the information and terms displayed on that platform. MDO AVOCATS does not transmit any data from your contact form to that platform merely because you click a link.
Retention periods
Contact enquiries are retained for no more than 365 days. Statistical logs are deleted or anonymised within 395 days at the latest; administration login logs are retained for no more than 365 days. Audience-measurement cookies are stored in the browser for no more than thirteen months. These periods may be adjusted where required by a legal obligation, a limitation period or the defence of a right.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to certain processing and withdraw your consent at any time. Proportionate proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Transfers and updates
Providers may process data within or outside the European Union in accordance with their own contractual safeguards and compliance information. This policy may change to reflect website practices and legal requirements; its publication date is the date displayed when it was last updated in the administration area.
Cookies and similar technologies
A banner lets you accept or reject, category by category, cookies and technologies that are not strictly necessary (audience measurement and Google Maps). None of these categories runs before you consent. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookies button at the bottom of each page.
Browsing data and statistics
When you visit the website and accept audience measurement, we record browsing data needed to measure traffic, improve the website and keep it secure: random visitor and session identifiers, pages viewed, browsing dates and times, known active duration, downloads, performance data, an anonymised IP address, technical browser and device information (language, resolution, browser and operating system) and, where supplied by Cloudflare, the country. These data are used solely on the firm's behalf to produce aggregate statistics, detect errors and protect the administration area against abusive attempts. They are not used to sell data, create commercial profiles or track your browsing on other websites. The audience-measurement identifier stored in your browser expires after no more than thirteen months and is not extended by subsequent visits. Statistical logs are deleted or anonymised within thirteen months at the latest. Administration login logs are kept for twelve months for security purposes. Data may be processed by technical providers essential to hosting, security and delivery of the website, notably OVHcloud, Google (Google Maps, if accepted) and, if enabled, Cloudflare. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection by writing to rgpd@mdo-avocats.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
